This review is mostly about the service. We came for dinner and had the octopus, scallops, and pork chops. Everything was delicious but what really impressed us was the service. Every single person who stopped by our table was so kinda and attentive. Our server Alastair was great and made us feel very welcomed. Would come again just for the amazing service!

Came for tea time with friends and had such a fabulous experience. The atmosphere was elegant yet welcoming, and we had a truly marvelous time. The hosts were warm and pleasant, and it was so fun seeing everyone dressed up in their hats…it really added to the charm. The restaurant even offers a tea hat rack so guests can pick one out, which made the experience feel extra special. The tea selection was wonderful, with plenty of delicious options to choose from. The tea tower of assorted bites was a highlight…everything was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The space itself was spacious and made the perfect backdrop for our Mother’s Day tea. I’m already looking forward to coming back to experience dinner.

Chez Bacchus was such a discovery! Everything we had was freshly made and delicious. The service was excellent - servers know their menu and their teas. They were attentive without hovering. We thought they served brunch but it’s high tea (complete with optional lavish hats to wear). No problem. Eggs cooked any style and sensational thick bacon are on the à la carte menu. We had that followed by a tea tower for one. Libations were amazing - check out their lavender cocktail! Atmosphere is warm, inviting and friendly. This is the place to lose yourself in conversation and a relaxed meal.

Chez Bacchus was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Every single dish we had was excellent, but the rigatoni completely blew me away. Rich, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor, it’s one of those plates you keep thinking about after the meal is over. We also had the fried rice, which was surprisingly great and had a nice little spicy kick that kept it interesting without overpowering anything. The bread assortment deserves its own mention. It was insane in the best way and set the tone for the rest of the meal. Thoughtful, well executed, and clearly done with care. Presentation across the board was beautiful, but never felt like style over substance. The food tasted as good as it looked. The staff was another highlight. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely accommodating without feeling forced or scripted. I also loved the family-style table concept. It made the whole experience feel more relaxed, more social, and honestly just more fun. The vibe was right, the food was dialed in, and the overall experience felt special without being pretentious. We went for their famous high tea on weekend during brunch. The tea is delicately prepared and well presented. The tower of high tea goodies is a good portion and a delight to consume. The clotted cream portion they served along the scones was very little. We asked for more and were served more thankfully. It was a great experience that I would recommend.
